On January 21st, Kurt Schmidt led a lovely commissioning service for us, the away team, of the Belize Mission. As part of the service, the prayer partners, and other members of the congregation laid hands on and prayed over us.
Having the congregation and prayer partners pray for us was a very moving experience. As one away team member said, “The commissioning service brought the whole congregation together as one body sending out the away team. It felt good to be unified in this way.”
We, the away team, are praying for our mission and for the home team, and the home team is praying for our mission and us, the away team.
